Impeachment Obsession Could Damage America & Destroy Democrats

email Email

With media focusing on the Jerusalem debate and the Al Franken groping scandal, few Americans noticed a menacing development on the House floor. There, Representative Al Green of Texas pushed ahead with his relentless drive to impeach Donald Trump. Without citing specific “high crimes or misdemeanors”, and without waiting for special counsel Mueller’s report, Green focused on rhetoric, denouncing Trump for language that “divides and damages the social fabric.”

Amazingly, 58 Democrats joined Green in voting to move forward with Impeachment – a full third of all Democrats in the House. If they take control of the chamber a year from now, it’s a virtual certainty that angry Democrats would manufacture an impeachment crisis to paralyze the country. Even for those who harbor grave doubts about aspects of the president’s performance, this should a frightening prospect—and Democrats with any sense of perspective and balance must speak out against these excesses to reclaim the mantle of loyal opposition.

So they impeach Trump, and Pence becomes president and they impeach Pence and then Ryan becomes president and then? Of course conservatives will do the same. How silly.

Can someone explain to me why are leftists, who oppose Trump, portrayed as brave people, who are part of some meaningful and important resistance movement? But, only a few years ago, people who opposed Obama, were just OLD, WHITE, RACIST, OBSTRUCTIONISTS?

Becasuse no matter who is in office or how fragmented the media becomes, the dominant narrative will always come from the left. Leftists control the institutions in this country: vast majority of papers and magazines, vast majority of universities, virtually all the nationwide professional groups like ABA, AMA, APA, hollyweird, vast majority of news services, the most powerful industries like tech, most Fortune 500 companies. The left is like the Empire from Star Wars. The right is like the small group trying to defeat the Evil Empire.

The Democrats think that America should be like a banana republic or some sort of 3rd world country where the arbitrary will of elites overrules the rule of law. Obama's and Hillary's crew did worse things than Pres. Trump has, but somehow they seem to be above the law. Where are they trying to go? They can receive the same relentless treatment if they keep it up.

Gee Michael, Republican voters have known this since Pelosi took over the House in 2006. Maybe you could get further insight from guests on your program this past year— it is time to reflect on 2017. You guests like Lannie Davis, Bill Press, and especially those paragons of bipartisanship Van Jones, Chris Matthews, Lawerance O’Donnell and I understand you’re trolling for Keith Olberman now. I have an empty tank when it comes to understanding your motives anymore.

Bipartisanship in Michael's world, means bend over and grab the ankles… you are about to endure some pain.

Rizzo, I can always count on you for smiles and laughs in these columns even though the topics seem intended to do the opposite. Merry Christmas to you and yours and the same to Nani.

Merry Christmas to you too Jim and all those who has open our eyes to who the Left really are and what they are trying to do to this nation. It's been painful but necessary.

Merry Christmas to you and your family and friends as well Nani. Maybe we will receive a few Christmas miracles this year like passing a solid Tax cut/reform package, an end to chain migration/sane immigration policy and a much stronger military. Only the best to the two of you in 2018!

      • Rizzo  •  Dec 13, 2017 at 6:10 am

Merry Christmas to you as well.
You all have inspired me to continue this fight against the lunatic left.
        Thank you!
