Junking Standardized Tests? That Would Only Worsen the Core Problem

The biggest challenge facing American higher education isn’t getting more students to enroll in universities; it’s making sure that fewer students enroll in collegiate programs in which they’re doomed to fail. Unfortunately, the current push to eliminate standardized tests as a factor in admissions and scholarships will only make the problem worse.
