For three reasons, confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh has been a damaging disaster for Democrats.

First, those Democrats have been indignant in defeat, and America hates sore losers.

New talk of impeaching Kavanaugh, or continuing to smear him, only makes the Democrats look extreme and vicious. Second, the whole Kavanaugh fight united Republicans more than ever before, with even Trump skeptics appreciating his strong defense of a good man and outstanding judge.

Third, the Democrats’ implacable and irrational hysteria toward Kavanaugh shows that Trump’s not the only one to blame for our present polarization. The president may be rude and crude, but even the most main-stream, polished conservative–like Kavanaugh–will draw the irrational wrath of the apocalyptic left. Republicans learned we can only survive by working together–and fighting back.

It is clear that, aside from the fact the The Donald was the one nominating him, Kavanaugh's principle crime was in being an Originalist- a person who believes the the Constitution means what it says, and in the meaning of the language of the time it was written.

The US Constitution is a contract. The signatories are the Central government, the sovereign states, and the people. When one party decides to change the terms of the contract on its own, without the permission of the other two, that contract becomes meaningless.

Needed changes are allowed, through the Amendment process, but today's Democrat Party has not the strength nor the wherewithal to push their agenda items either by the legislative process or the amendment process, ergo, they have opted for the view of the Constitution as a "living document", whereas they only need a corrupt federal judge (or justice) to rewrite that contract to their satisfaction.

An Originalist vision of the Constitution is a genuine threat to their quest for permanent power…

And his secondary crimes were being (1) white, (2) male, and (3) catholic. It always makes me laugh when democrats and other libtards claim to be against racism, sexism, and religious intolerance.

"Republicans learned we can only survive by working together–and fighting back."

It would probably be more accurate if that sentence read "Republican Never-Trumpers learned we can only survive by working together-and fighting back." Welcome to the party, Michael, and many others from that group who care to rejoin the fight.

      Bingo!

Using the words 'smear', 'implacable', and 'irrational' for the Democrat's opposition to this candidate requires a kind of selective blindness. Perhaps you could watch the first episode of this season's South Park for a depiction of this. Certainly there is shock and anger in many parts of America regarding judge Kavinaugh as an unworthy candidate for the Supreme court. The reasons for this do not seem irrational to me. Even though the three women who came forward have not proven their grievances, none have been in any real way refuted. The public senses a whitewash on the halfhearted attempt at investigating the facts and this has caused a lot of anguish. It is the Republicans in charge of this process who have caused this, not the Democrats.

David, come on… "have not proven their grievances, none have been in any real way refuted."? All of the witnesses named by these women have specifically denied (refuted) Dr. Ford's claims.

Good try, but not good enough.

David, unfortunately no amount of spin changes the fact that Dems believe that the burden of proof is on the accused. That is beyond offensive. The moment Dems admitted that unamerican point–and you agreed. You LOST.

    • ty needs counseling  •  Oct 9, 2018 at 10:55 pm

Your claims only require a short response – you are coo-coo. Completely out of touch with reality.

We lost when Democrats stayed home and did not vote against president clown.

We cannot lose elections because republicans will cheat and tilt the scales using the law in ways not approached since their grandparents were stacking the deck as racist Democrats in the deep south with Jim Crowe laws.

They don't have the numbers, cheating and stacking the deck is their primary path to minority rule victory, which is what the rest of the nation is currently suffering under.

    • Rizzo  •  Oct 6, 2018 at 7:39 pm

Yep Ty…. you LibTards lost, and America WON!

      MAGA BABY…. MAGA!

    • Rizzo  •  Oct 7, 2018 at 6:46 pm

      Cheating? Stacking the deck?
Who is it exactly that opposes voter-integrity laws?
Who is it exactly that invites illegal aliens into our country to vote?
Who is it exactly that offer "free" government handouts in exchange for votes?

It's clear who implements win-at-all-cost tactics.

    • ty needs counseling  •  Oct 9, 2018 at 10:58 pm

Why did you not give any examples of cheating and stacking the deck? And it doesn't matter what anybody's grandparents did. We are not responsible for what others do. We our responisible for our own actions. But yeah, I know you people are so rapped up in group identity that individual rights aren't very important to you. And you just can't get over the fact that slavery, segregation, jim crow, and today's racism of white privilege was nearly all done by democrats. Suck on that, Tyrese. You will never be able to erase that fact. Democrats have been racist for 190 years. The republican party has been on the right side of racial issues from the beginning.

Somebody needs to get prosecuted for something. The liberal hysteria needs it like a cold bucket of water thrown in their faces. Oh, and Dianne Feinstein isn't much of a poker player either.

    • ty needs counseling  •  Oct 9, 2018 at 11:00 pm

Yes, all three liars need to be prosecuted for perjury. They all three lied under oath or in sworn documents.
