Patriots of every perspective have two big days coming up: first, November 8^th, election day, when every American who cares about the country has a sacred duty to consider the issues and the candidates, and then to vote. Skipping the election is not an honorable option!

The second big day is November 9^th, the day after a fateful choice. At that point, we all have a responsibility to accept the outcome of the election with grace and dignity, and to wish success to the new president, whoever it is.

In 2008, a few prominent commentators made a needless mistake and expressed the wish that Obama would fail. Though they really wanted him to fail in his mission to “transform” America, the public heard it as a wish to see harm to the country.

A successful America requires a successful presidency, and we should hope and pray for the best for President-elect Trump, or President-elect Clinton. That’s what patriots do.
