TRANSGENDERED INSANITY MUDDLES HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS

In California, Minnesota and other states, efforts are underway to enable “transgendered” students to participate in sports teams of the opposite sex. Boys who identify as girls could play girls’ basketball, while girls identifying as boys compete in boys’ gymnastics.

But what about hormone treatments commonly used in “transitioning” from one gender to another? In Minnesota, a former-female playing soccer on a boy’s team would be allowed to take male sex hormones forbidden to boys on the same team. A girl on a girl’s team who took male hormones would also get in big trouble. And what happens when few female-to-male transgendered kids make it to boys’ teams, since adolescent boys are bigger and stronger?

Should these frustrated athletes compete with their original female gender, making the whole idea of “sex change” a mockery? Political correctness allows no sane answers to such questions.

This is wonderful news. In California, you can just say you identify as a girl. I will tell my son to identify as a girl through high school. He will get a full ride to college playing women’s softball or women’s golf. You have just given male students everywhere tuition assistance throughout the country. Only a bigot would deny my son (who identifies as a girl) to participates in female sports and get a full scholarship for the competitive advantage he would give to the awarding school. I think it is great that we are mixing genders within sports. Now we can finally do away with girls sports that are a waste of school resources. Once boys are free to participate in any school team they want, girls’ teams will only be the second string boys team. Thank you “left” for “leveling the playing field”.

This makes me think of a saying: “Son, just because you put on a feather suit and flap your arms, that still don’t make you a bird.”
