Leave a commentThe reason Smith didn't get an Oscar nod? He played a very convincing Christian who loves America, doesn't hop into the sack with his co-star on screen, and just to sink his chances completely, turns down a government job and finds joy in his family. I found Smith's performance absolutely stellar. Best movie I've seen in a long time, even if a little over dramatic in places.
