Did I watch the same movie as Medved? Ok, if so, I totally missed the drug induced sex part. I saw the trippy drug use (psychedelic boredom) but there was no sex. And yeah, the Vietnamese woman spoke broken English, but isn't that plausible? Not everyone knows English. She's a great character, takes charge, works hard, wastes no time feeling sorry for herself, and thanks Jesus, that's part of her life too, she's a Christian. There is some harsh language at one point (and he corrects her use of the vulgar term) and full frontal nudity (but it's so clinical-naked, shaven, unconscious men) that unless you don't know what a man looks like you won't be shocked. The theme of the movie is that if you pursue happiness by seeking wealth, materialism, a noble cause, or partying, you'll fail, and if you want to be happy–live today and help others. I get why the media and Hollywood hated it, but c'mon Michael Medved, this is a movie worth seeing.
