Start practicing the phrase: President Romney

I almost cried last night because I saw the man in the job, just as clear as day... saw him standing at the podium being sworn in, wearing a heathery wool scarf on a crisp, sun shiny morning in Washington D.C. John saw it too, for the first time. I am dazzled by Mitt Romney. He has utilized of every minute of time since the last election, working his buns off to master the issues and improve his presentation. He has earned my respect and my enthusiastic support, and believe me, he was starting in the hole with me.

Romney has a brilliant strategy, very well thought through, and he is sticking to the plan like super glue. He is slow and steady, sure and sincere. In a matter of three debates, he has shown Perry to be a light weight carrying a few bumper sticker phrases in his back pocket. And there is no one else even close to Mitt Romney. Mitt has conquered the Romney Care problem. This was evident in the FoxNews/Frank Luntz studio audience reaction immediately following the debate. The promise that will secure the nomination for Mitt and which will carry him in the general election is his promise to delete Obamacare on the first day of his presidency. I believe him. And waiting for that moment will literally keep me alive through the remaining 16 months of Nerobama's reign of terror.

The early and best line of the debate also belonged to Mitt – when he said, in response to the question: Is President Obama a Socialist? – he answered: 'there is only one title I'm interested in giving Obama, and that's Former President Obama...' This is the election in a nutshell. Mitt Romney is the guy who will turn President Obama into a has been. Something else about Romney, and this is so important for the general election. He is upbeat and nice. Even when he was cleaning Perry's clock, he looked right at Perry and he wasn't mean or cocky, just confident and in command of the facts. By contrast, Perry twice tried to spit out a pre-scripted littany of gotcha lines against Romney, but he messed up, got lost in the weeds, and fell flat on his face. He looked down the whole time, spoke ploddingly, and his heart wasn't in it (a good sign, since we will urgently need Perry to campaign long and hard for Romney).

Honestly, the fact that Mitt Romney wants to be president at this juncture, and that he is obviously itching to roll up his sleeves and throw himself into the mountain of work ahead... well, that is pretty amazing all by itself. I have no doubt that Romney's imminent victory is going to dawn on Obama at some point, and he will accelerate his attempts to burn down this nation. He is such a small, egotistical nimrod, he will not be able to resist leaving behind as stinking a mess as he possibly can.

Another vision will sustain me through the final days of our present tribulation. Here is how I hope the GOP, with Mitt Romney as our newly elected president, will answer the malevolent Jeremiah Wright and the despicable Barack Obama on Inauguration Day, 2013. I have it on good authority that Mitt Romney can pull the right strings to make it happen... close your eyes and imagine this performance on the capitol steps, while President Romney sits at a table in front of the choir, signing 50 waivers for Obamacare, and the cleaning crews are busy in the East Wing vacuuming up the last crumbs of corruption, painting over the greasy finger prints all over the walls, and letting a fresh breeze air the place out.

CLICK and DREAM.
