   Comments on “Honk if you were ever devoted to a car”

   Great nostalgia , I enjoyed it
   One observation though, – the plymouth of your and my youth, 1950-1956 and before had in line 6 cylinder engines. The V8 engine(not V6) was first introduced in some Plymouth models in 1956. It was the Forerunner of the trusty 318 ci V8 engines of later years. I was also one of their trusty ‘For the young at Heart’ (their slogan) owners for that 1956 model year.

   I am donating $100 to this much needed charity. I have a question, which, is the same question I ask in regard to other third world nations on this earth that have starving people. How much money is the United States giving these countries in foreign aid, and how much of it actually getting to the people. Is their governments just as corrupt as others and taking the majority of the donations so they can live a lavished life style while their own people continue to starve and live in poverty?

   I desperately wish that there was a “Overthrow the socialist dictator’s that starve their populace fund”. Donating to this group just let’s kid survive long enough to be soldier’s in the dictator’s army.

   $50 to food for the poor. I agree with Kevin McC about wishing wish that there was a “Overthrow the socialist dictator’s that starve their populace fund”. However, we won’t get that until we get rid of Dingy Harry, Maria Can’t-vote-well, Nancy P-Lousy and others of that ilk.
