1) he’s not arguing for govmenrent regulations against religion I find his rhetoric regarding how parent brainwash their children with their religion to be treading close to this line. I agree with him on the substance of it that most people have never even had a chance to think about this stuff because it was forced on them at such an early age but his delivery makes me uneasy. Protect the children is a powerful argument that seems to make some people forget about the proper bounds of govmenrent. Frankly, he gives the appearance of a person who is toning down his message for public consumption. I would not be suprised if he actually DID believe that govmenrent should interefere to prevent religious indoctrination by parents but is simply not saying so because he knows it would be an unpopular viewpoint.
