I wonder if you remember? In 1998, I was in Phoenix having a reunion with my two Navy buddies. They were stationed with me at Litchfield Park Naval Air Faciility, Az. in 1951. I was going back to my room at the hotel in Phoenix when the elevator door opened and out you came in your bathing suit and holding a towel. I recognized you but your name escaped me but I remembered seeing you on Kera channel 13 in Dallas. You identified yourself and went on to the swimming pool. I think You told me you were giving a lecture in Phoenix. I added you to my great pantheon of celebrities whom I had met which included J. C. Penney, who shook hands with me and gave me his autograph in 1954, Ernest Tubb, the country singer, in 1947, Greer Garson, about 1957?,, Burgess Meredith about 1957?, Smiley Burnette, Gene Autry’s sidekick, about 1957?, Two Ton Tony Galento, the heavyweight boxer, about 1957?, and to top it all off, the Granddaughter of Roscoe Ates! I’m not going to do all your work for you! If you’re curious about Ates, look him up! I love my computer, it’s almost indispensable because at 83, when my memory fails me, I run to my computer and my mind is clarified!
    Good Luck and Regards,

Michael, you should do 5 star movies! It wouldn’t take much time because there are so few of them! Here are my top 5 star movies but this is very hard for me to evaluate because I love them all! The African Queen, Bridge On The River Kwai, The Graduate, Dr. Strangelove, The China Syndrome, Friendly Persuasion, Anatomy Of A Murder, Meet John Doe, Mr. Smith Goes To Washington Mr. Deed Goes To Town, It’s A Wonderful Life, On The Beach, and Witness For The Prosecution. . There are other 5 star movies but I can’t think of them.

I failed to put The Caine Mutiny on my list of 5 star movies! It’s funny but in the ’30’s and ’40’s, I cared very little for Humphrey Bogart, but he grew on me by virtue of his two great performances in The African Queen and The Caine Mutiny in the ’50’s. I must be biased in favor of Jimmy Stewart and Gary Cooper! They both have three 5 star movies on my list!
