Leave a commentGiven that Obama had a number of obviously more competent, and qualified individuals he could have nominated as Sec of Defense than Chuck Hagel, I think this nomination is nothing more than another attempt to damage the Republican Party. One that will fail because it’s been obvious for years that Hagel is a Republican in Name Only (RINO).
If anything the Hagel nomination only illustrates the incompetence of the Obama administration.
A. Either Hagel gets denied confirmation hurting Obama credibility. Or
B. Hagel gets confirmed and catalyzes and energizes the Republican opposition,
I disagree that this nomination is nothing more than an attempt to damage the Republican Party. Republicans are doing a fine job of that themselves. It is although, a sacrificial lamb for the real nominee that will be more offensive than Chuck Hagel. Obama will give the “other side” a morsel and then slam them with a real left leaning activist.
Sen. Graham ate Hagel for breakfast! Nicely done!
Although still a politician, Senator Graham gets my respect.
Nice work showing how poor of a choice Chuck Hagel is for the position. Now if we could get someone to fight like that for the 2nd amendment, and for a real budget, maybe things in this country would improve.
What a load! First of all, Lindsey Grahamnesty is an idiot who’s been bought the Zionist warmongers a long time ago. And while Ziocon radio host Michael “deadhead” Medved claims that he’s for America first, that’s not what his website seems to indicate. Every time I look at it, he’s got “Donate to Israel” or “Israel Tour” right on top of his site. It just reeks of an Israel-Firster! And why in the hell would any decent American want to donate money for terrorist activities? We already give those warmongers about 5 billion every year. Why doesn’t Medved tour America and solicit donations for our poor people?
If you haven’t noticed John, he gives a lot more than most to poor Americans, and probably 100% more than you.
I haven’t seen anything to indicate this. But even if what you say is true, it’s still Israel first isn’t it?
Hagel is a disaster for America – he should be voted down.
