I respect Hollywood actors about as much as politicians these days…..Not much that is.

    • CKWarlick  •  Jan 16, 2013 at 12:13 pm

All of these “actors” are too dumb to realize that they are one of the main causes of gun

    • Raul  •  Jan 24, 2013 at 12:35 am

All these actors are the 1%, they evade taxes, they make excessive salaries, they preach their godless morality, they live in a fantasy world, yes they think, they are important. Hollywood, and those in sport,tv,news, former politicians and talk shows have have all broken America, shame on them.

I think this is just a publicity promotion for each and every individual participating in this ad.

    • Jason Huggins  •  Jan 11, 2013 at 8:31 pm

Of course this was a publicity promotion. They are known for putting on a false manner in order to deceive others. It would be silly to consider that people actually believe the words coming out of there mouths. These are actors that have made lots of money off movies with gun violence so in a way they have made money off of gun violence. Also, I bet they have bodyguards that carry guns and they would never give that up.

Judging from your callers, nothing but morons listen to you. I may have to quit listening

    • Tee  •  Feb 24, 2013 at 12:04 pm

I’m always amazed at the people like yourself that go around with the name calling. How did your radio dial reach Michaels show if you think “Moorons” are his audience. You obviously know you just might LEARN something or you woundn’t tune in! Like many others I hear bashing -you take the time to listen in! It’s laughable!

  4. Steve  •  Jan 10, 2013 at 4:48 pm

Of course its hypocracy, security for the elites and none for the masses, they cannot be trusted with arms, the vote (oh, I’m ahead of myself) or make any decisions for themselves. 20 children died at Sandy Hook because of a madman, 2 million or more died because of a madman in the 1940s, ie Hitler… which would you prefer?

The glorification of violence is okay – it has NOTHING to do with desensitizing people. This has to be the most rank hypocrisy in this country today. And I won’t believe them until they stop making violent movies.

  6. Phil Gragg  •  Jan 11, 2013 at 2:50 am

Typical Hollywood trash depicting irresponsible use of firearms. The left wing entertainment elite churns out tons of this type of mindless entertainment (if you can call it such) which depicts irresponsible use of sex, cars, alcohol, guns, drugs and the list goes on. It is mind pollution of the first order.

  7. jim baldwin  •  Jan 11, 2013 at 4:07 pm

I think this is another way that the Hollyweird elite wants to tell you what to do,while they say their hands are clean because they dont own any guns. The fact is they all own many guns that other security people will use to shoot someone coming after them. Look at the election and what these paid liers and frauds did to the public that pays their way in life, they gave a huge amount of money to the Democratic party to reelect this other fraud and lier for their own benefit. I for one am going to stop renting and going to the movies that is the only action I can take to change the outcome of this end of the mess we are in.

  8. m. Kape  •  Jan 11, 2013 at 6:23 pm

Why don’t any of you look into the CAFR’s? You may know what they are but if not search for details. Think about this: A state lottery has millions of annual unclaimed funds, where do they go? If a winner takes a lump sum for a big prize they usually get 45% to 55% of the prize, where does the balance go? If a winner takes the annual payments and the lottery invests the prize money for 20 years, where is the money they earned on the prize for 20 years go? Our schools are all broke yet the lotteries have billions in funds that no one seems to care about.

    • Peggy Carlisle  •  Feb 18, 2013 at 10:54 pm

i care plenty about where the money goes. I have friends who are teachers. They said it all looks good on paper, but they really aren’t getting a dime of that money. It is a farce the Government made up, because they know people are greedy and always want more. As for the unclaimed money, they say they can’t touch it because someone might show up with the ticket. But each ticket has an exasperation date on it. So it is one big American lie. Why would they invest our SS money with this much sitting around. And who audits this money? Where is the proof they even have it. A couple years ago I talked with a man who told me the name of the company that makes the Lottery tickets out of Kentucky, but can’t remember it. He told me they were just as crooked as the Government. But as far as Hollywood goes, they are just as big criminals as some of those in the White House. They demand more and more money every time they make a movie. Greed is the root of all evil and it’s biting us all in the ass.

enforce the laws on the books. Do not touch our second amendment . Pleas respect my rights as an American.

  11. M Percival  •  Jan 12, 2013 at 5:40 pm

Looks like most of this was done with Holllywood clips. Most of these folks make money selling

  12. Jeff Maher  •  Jan 13, 2013 at 4:48 am

My god, I have never seen such a display of unintentional hypocrisy by a group of truly blind individuals. These hollywood people certainly do entertain. I can imagine a follower of some of these goofballs looking at this clip and cheering and offering their full support and then going out and buying their latest movie of murder and deceit.

You see, hollywood does not have a free-ride anymore. Our social ills are far too serious. If any of you fools out there think that this scum-sucking industry, and the filth they produce has no effect on society, you should check the numbers of how many people rent, buy or go to a theater to view their visual rags.

Conservatives are the problem? Guns are the problem? You should first look at the power of influence, and go from there, idiots.

If Hollywood put out a movie of a responsible family that hunted and taught their kids responsibility, and eventually protected their own lives with a gun as a criminal tried to harm them, you might have my support and the silent support of the smarter group of the citizenry.

Criminals do not need laws and they will never adhere to them.

Hollywood is nearing the time where they will pay for their corruptive influence and will not be able to make excuses “arts sake”. I will personally see to it.

    Take responsibility America.

  13. Gail R  •  Jan 14, 2013 at 5:04 pm

What we need to demand is that our actors (role models, heroes) need to refuse to make absurdly violent movies and T.V. programs. It’s TIME for them to stop the b.s. and take action to end violence in the media!

    • Deborah Odom  •  Jan 21, 2013 at 5:18 pm

Amen. I laugh @ them cause they think their opinion matters. I believe we can think for ourselves. The Republican party needs to get off their buttoms &stand up for what is right. Remove the pork & do what the people want & stand up to Pres. Bully

  14. Sergeant Sheppard  •  Jan 14, 2013 at 5:33 pm

I am a firm believer in the “right to own and bear arms” and no one dares publicize our heinously bias and slanted media that there are more than 100million more people in America today than in 1980…but…as Paul Harvey might’ve substantiated, with “One Third the Murders” as “1980”…and yes, the rich politicians and celebrities are exempt from almost every new law and ordinance that this crooked administration is forcing in our lives…

  15. Scott B  •  Jan 14, 2013 at 9:17 pm

I think that there should be a 1000000 fine for every instance where guns are used for violence on screen. If the second amendment is taking a hit, the first amendment can take one for the team too.

  16. art l  •  Jan 16, 2013 at 5:35 pm

we see more violence on t.v. and movies than we see in real life. three new movies being released are filled with nothing but violence. “the last stand”,”bullet to the head” and “dejango unchained” are the lastest offerings from the anti-gun crowd in hollywood. the top shows on t.v. “ncis”,”ncis los angeles”,”csi”,”hawaii five o” and many others glorify violence and guns that they want to ban. i know obama will never ban assault weapons from being used on t.v. shows. obama will never blame any of the social ills on the entertainment industry that bought the white house for him. i would be willing to bet good money that studies on gun violence the president has ordered the CDC to engage in will never ever blame gun violence on violent movies or t.v. or video games. hollywood will never look in the mirror and except any blame for the violence their trash inspires. we should boycott the entertainment industry let liberals pay for their rich lifestyles. until we do that and stand up to the bullies in hollywood that do nothing but attack us, they will continue treating us like we are subhuman. if all conservatives stopped buying their products, we would show them they cant push us around and demonize us whenever they want to. if i got bad service at a restaurant i i might give them a second chance. if i got bad service all the time i would not go back and find another place to eat out. its time to rise up against the entertainment elites.

  17. Zorayda  •  Jan 18, 2013 at 6:22 pm

I’m not surprised. Such hypocrites! They think they are above it all and because they are famous, they feel they can dictate others’ lives.

  18. Arcadio  •  Jan 19, 2013 at 1:28 am

these people are actually worst than the shooter at sandy hook, at least the guy killed himself
after doing something wrong. these hipocrite actors keep doing the same bad thing over and over again. who’s gonna believe what they’re saying their actors, they’re ACTING , thats all.

  19. Robert Jiron  •  Jan 19, 2013 at 5:31 pm

Micheal the debate over gun control is completely retarded. Blaming the firearm for the deaths of those children makes as much sense and blaming the ocean for drowning. many of these folks seem to see demonizing the firearms for horrific deaths but none of them bother to say anything about 1.2 million children killed every year with abortions. This pick and choose our morality shows the sad state we are in. Should we then ban cars for the deaths they cause or maybe anything that can be used to hit someone since the majority of murders in this country result in death by blunt force trauma? Adding to this the fact that many ask the same questions.( why do you NEED this type of firearm or NEED that much ammunition?) the constitution states very clearly we have the RIGHT to bear arms. It doesnt state anything about NEED. folks need to realize that. My need may be different then your need. That doesnt remove My rights. just a thought

  20. Marty Kaltenbach  •  Jan 20, 2013 at 5:32 am

Hollywood and hipocracy? Say it ain’t so. Don’t worry, based on the last election there’s evidence that 49% really care.

  21. Deborah Odom  •  Jan 21, 2013 at 5:19 pm

Amen. I laugh @ them cause they think their opinion matters. I believe we can think for ourselves. The Republican party needs to get off their buttoms &stand up for what is right. Remove the pork & do what the people want & stand up to Pres. Bully

  22. MNwidow48  •  Jan 22, 2013 at 9:36 pm

Hollywood is full of hypocrites that have Washington in their pockets. Actors advocating gun control on behalf of the liberals who passed tax legislation on January 2nd to help Hollywood. Corrupt Hypocrites.

  23. timbok2  •  Jan 23, 2013 at 3:51 pm

Liberals have been and always will be the biggest hypocrites in our society.

  24. Doug  •  Jan 23, 2013 at 6:14 pm

Liberalism is emotion based. Logic means nothing to them. I pity them. They are pathetic.

  25. RAy Oros  •  Jan 24, 2013 at 7:04 pm

Hollywood…. do as I say not as I do.

Obama acts like a King now … imagine what he would be like with a disarmed America.

What are the 51% who voted for this guy thinking about.. I know… free stuff.

Our once great Republic is in for a rough ride for the next four years.

  26. Malcolm Burnett  •  Jan 25, 2013 at 1:04 am

When gun laws are passed only law abiding people obey them.

When gun control laws are passed only law abiding people abide by them. There is a law that guns are not allowed on or near school grounds. What good did that law do in Newtown? It just guaranteed that there were no armed guards at the school. If there had been an armed guard at he school it might even have dissuaded the gunman from going to the school in the first place.

  27. Glen Baldwin  •  Jan 25, 2013 at 11:09 am

It is hard to get my brain wrapped around the absurdity of their appeal for stopping gun violence. How the actors think this presentation could be anything but disgusting??
It took me half way through it to realize each actors comment was followed by them playing some heinous killer in a movie, how could they not see the blatant double standard in this?

  28. Kevin Gillette  •  Jan 28, 2013 at 1:53 pm

Moronic, immature, self-centered, hypocritical pathetic morons!

  29. Rick  •  Jan 31, 2013 at 6:39 pm

All these yahoos need to give up their armed security and the regime needs to eliminate secret service protection as well as all of congress before they threaten all the rest of us. they need to practice what they preach.

  30. mp  •  Feb 8, 2013 at 8:49 am

lame and boring … and the point was? confuse film fiction with reality?

  31. Dr Craig Sanders  •  Feb 10, 2013 at 4:22 pm

The hollywood hypocrits make money off of gun violence…they use guns as a means to make money…those of us who support the second ammendment know that a gun is a tool of self-defense…we do not exploit them for self promotion!
The same actors, actresses and politicians who are against guns hire guatds for protection…yet they do not want us to have guns to protect ourselves and our loved ones…more hypocracy!

  32. The Roger  •  Feb 11, 2013 at 11:33 pm

I DEMAND A PLAN … and it is that all actors and/or musicians getting royalties on movies or music that illustate or glorify violence in anyway, donate these royalties to a fund for the families of violent crimes.

These actors, musicians and other “beautiful” elite people that cry out for our leaders to violate the constitutional rights of the law abiding citizens, of these United States. These hypocrites are more reponcible for the violent degradation of our society as the crazy people that commit these crimes!!

HOLLYWOOD, you can do much better than that garbage!! AMEN

  33. Martha  •  Feb 18, 2013 at 11:04 pm

If they want us to give up on our rights, I say we give up on them. If we don’t go see there movies or buy dvds or there stuff, on guess what your are out of a job. Welcome to my world. Two can play the game. With taxs and everything going up who can see your movies. You don’t jack with the people who pay you.

  34. e l  •  Feb 19, 2013 at 8:10 am

i have a plan. be armed better than the thugs .

Spot on with this write-up, I genuinely think this internet site needs a lot more consideration. I’ll most likely be again to read a lot more, thanks for that info.

    red bottom shoes

  36. John Smith  •  May 10, 2013 at 2:42 pm

I’m totally pro-gun rights, but by this logic, if Matt Damon comes out against murder and stealing he must be a hypocrite because he’s portrayed a murderer and a thief in at least two of his movies (the Departed he plays a corrupt cop who kills people to further his corrupt aims, and Oceans’ 11, 12, and 13 where he plays a thief). Nice.

  37. matty  •  May 21, 2013 at 12:24 am

Totally spot on. These are people who make their living pretending. As a kid I did the same after watching Sgt. Saunders of “Combat” fighting the evil Nazis. But even a properly raised kid can see through the willfull ignorance and hypocracy of these limp-minded libs. My sons have all been shown how to discern truth from specious Hollywood blather. I pray they will do the same with their own kids when the time comes. God bless America and the NRA.
